We were in a bind with staffing since we had three 1:3 patients on the floor. Amy took on five patients by 9:00 am with a smile on her face and again that afternoon. She provided excellent, prompt care and even helped others when needed. The day was an exceptionally rough one for the entire staff and Amy's good attitude really helped uplift the floor. It is always a joy when she floats to us and I just wanted to give you some feedback.

Amy floated to RCU today to help us out. We are always glad to work with her because she just comes in and is willing to do whatever, whenever, however, it needs to be done. She always has the best attitude, she is so much fun to work with, and she is an awesome nurse!
Amy took an unexpected admission today and didn't complain once about it. I know that it was super inconvenient, but she just did it. The patient was complex and busy, to say the least, and Amy also had three other patients. I love working with her and I just wanted you to know how much everyone on our unit really enjoys working with her.

Amy has incredible strength and patience to perform her responsibilities. Wherever she is assigned she arrives and gives so much compassion. It is seen by all, patients, family members, and staff. Amy's dedication is keeping strong to the Cook Children's promise.

While I was working with Amy I witnessed her catch a medication error twice. Once on her patient and one for a patient on the floor not assigned to her. She is a detail-oriented nurse who really cares about everyone.
