Amy is always accessible, available, and responds quickly to the needs, questions, and ideas of her team.
When I first transitioned from bedside nursing to a full-time leadership role, Amy motivated me to become the leader that I would want to have. Her excitement and energy made my transition to a leadership role feel stress-free and extremely supported. Amy listens to new ideas and encourages her team to engage in critical thinking skills to problem-solve issues that arise. She involves all member of her team in interviewing new candidates for roles within our department which creates an environment of trust and mutual respect between staff and leadership. She listens to feedback, ideas, and concerns from all staff making everyone feel understood, appreciated, and a valued member of the team.
