From the moment I arrived at 7A and she came in to assist my nurse, not only was she better than my assigned nurse, but she also beamed with joy, compassion, and was eagerly ready to help me. I have sickle cell anemia, and she made sure she stayed on top of my pain regimen. She left early, and I missed her presence for the next two days. On the third day, she was my nurse again, but fully this time, and she was a joy once again from the start of her shift, reminding me that she was here to take good care of me. She has such an inviting and caring attitude towards all her patients; she speaks so lovingly, having only met me and her other patients in a short time. I commend her and I honor her. I hope she wins this award ten times over. She is one of the greats, and she deserves the whole garden of flowers!! May she continue to be a blessing and a soft, caring nurse every day! Thank you, Nurse Amy, you are one of a kind, and it’s sad to say, but not many nurses have what you have! Please never let anyone change you!! Thank you again!!!!!
