She was one of my morning nurses while I was admitted for labor and delivery; she was always at my side and talked to me as if I was her own daughter. She always made it a priority to let me know what was going on with my baby and me. After I gave birth I started to hemorrhage, she stayed by my side the whole time making sure I was aware, she made me feel safe and comfortable even as I was going through a traumatic situation. I think about her everyday and how she saved my life, if she wasn’t there with me that day I don’t think I would’ve made it. She reminded me to breathe and stay with her she talked to me about how strong I was and how proud she was of me, that’s something I can never forget. She checked on me all day and made sure I was comfortable. She never once gave up on me, and I will never forget her. I know she treats all of her patients with that kind of love and care. She’s someone with a big heart and that loves her job immensely.
