As a first time Mom, the act of child labor and delivery is an overwhelming experience. Amy checked on me multiple times, and when it was time to push she helped me find the most effective position to ensure efficient delivery. My doctor asked her to remove medicine from my epidural and she understood I needed it on to be able to push. In addition, she had a great bedside manner and helped me through the "post-partum cave in" and when my baby had a code angel she was there all while precepting a nurse on her first day giving her guidance and supportive learning experience. Next time I have a baby I only want Amy Newman!
