I had the pleasure of having this nurse for 3 nights! Amy was kind and compassionate. She explained everything to me and helped me make a decision on how to proceed with my labor plan when I was not progressing past 6cm. She helped me change positions and get comfortable whenever I asked. She made sure I was taken care of.

I could only have clear liquids and Amy made sure to bring me all the Jell-O I wanted. After I had my baby, she was back the next night. She showed the same compassion for my baby. She explained all of his tests and procedures. The third night we had her as a nurse we were upset because we had hoped to be discharged earlier in the day but our baby had to go on the bilirubin light. Amy came in with a positive attitude and was determined to get us home as quickly as possible! She got all our vitals done so that when the labs came back we could leave.

When it came time to go home I had a surge of emotions. She was there to help console me and calm me down. We were able to leave and get a good night's rest at home! I can’t thank her enough for her care during my labor and the care for my baby. You can tell when someone truly loves what they do and that is apparent with this nurse.
