amy osborne, RN
Amy has worked as an RN for Mount Hood Medical Center for the past 35 years. She is a role model to the Medical Specialty team by demonstrating compassion and kindness to the patients that she serves.
I recently witnessed Amy during an RRT where the patient was having critical cardiac issues. Amy stepped in and assisted the patients nurse with anything the nurse required to provide the optimal care to her patient, while doing this she spoke to the patient throughout the RRT making sure that he was doing OK emotionally. When the family wanted to come in and be with the patient Amy made sure that their needs were met.
Amy is a calm leader of the unit. She is a resource to all the nurses and a joy to work with.
