Amy Richhart, RN
I would like to recognize Amy Richhart for providing exemplary care for one of our veterans. The veteran was transferring back to a skilled nursing facility but was experiencing an issue with their corrective eyewear.
Without Amy, the veteran would’ve had to wait until they made an appointment at the eye clinic and would’ve been without glasses until then, greatly reducing their quality of life. Amy prevented this calamity by personally driving the veteran’s eyewear to be repaired in time for the veteran’s discharge.
This exemplifies and goes beyond the ICARE value of Commitment: Amy barreled through obstacles to keep this veteran seeing clearly. Amy always does a tremendous job for the team, but such dedicated and committed service deserves further recognition.
