The patient's daughter called to tell me that she wanted someone to know how excellent Amy was. She stated that Amy was her mother's nurse the night before she was discharged to hospice. The daughter was trying to clean and change her mother. Amy saw her and said, "Let me help." She said Amy was so compassionate and gentle with her mother.

Amy taught her daughter techniques to take care of her mother at home, and gave her helpful hints that are still very useful now. The daughter is an STNA. She stated that Amy was absolutely wonderful, the best nurse she has seen. She has been in and out of the hospital numerous times with her mother and has never witnessed anyone like Amy.

No one has done anything like Amy did for her mother. Amy explained everything she was going to do for her. She was so compassionate and attentive, and just went above and beyond the call of duty. The daughter needed to make someone aware of what a jewel we have in Amy! She was so grateful because of the exceptional care Amy provided.
