Amy was nominated by a fellow nurse who praised Amy for the care she gave her grandparent. The family was vacationing in Tennessee when the grandparent fell ill and was taken to LeConte. Amy learned that due to the circumstances the family would have to miss their planned Christmas pictures.
Amy jumped into action, she got permission to get their grandparent out of his room, helped decorate for Christmas, and got the family matching hospital gowns instead of the originally planned matching pajamas.
