This faculty member is so involved and care immensely for her students. She takes time out of her busy schedule to go above and beyond for her students by providing extra resources to help them study and understand concepts. I love that I can go to her with a question and know that she will help me understand without making me feel dumb. She truly is a role model and helps her students learn, excel, and understand concepts. The time she takes with her student in clinical to help build their skills and confidence is so endearing and makes us feel like she wants us to succeed. I looked up to her throughout my clinical experiences for both her knowledge in the field but also her attention to detail and patient care. The way she takes time to talk with and get to know each and every patient helps the overall care of that patient. She demonstrated the type of nurse I strive to be. I loved that no matter what was going on in her life or the day she saw me or any of her students she will always take to time to see how I am, how I am doing in classes, and if I need anything from her. She is always open to talk and willing to listen no matter the day or time. I loved getting emails of encouragement from her on test days! Just knowing that she is thinking of us and believes in us helps me believe in myself. She is definitely an exemplary educator and an outstanding role model!!
