Amy is everything one would expect of a nurse. She stayed on top of my care and that of my baby's care from the moment we were brought to the floor. I have had trauma in the past with painful memories that are always a source of discussion and bring me a lot of emotional pain. Amy didn't look at me or treat me any differently because of my history. She was so very patient, kind and most of all supportive. She advocated for me and my baby in a way others would not. She made our stay in the Mother/Baby unit pleasant and worry free. She is an Exceptional Nurse and not only that, Amy is an Exceptional Person.

I came to Mother/Baby unit and was met by a lot of friendly nurses, however Amy stood out to me personally. She was very clear and attentive which anyone can achieve but Amy showed that she truly cared about my health. Not only did she keep up with all my meds to control pain but she talked with me and my husband, making us laugh and relax. When a situation happened she made sure she had everything ready in case of emergency. It's rare to find complete comfort and safety from someone you just met. It's a great accomplishment to be able to show your patients that they are more to you than just another case. Thank you Amy.
