Amy is an AMAZING nurse. I feel so privileged to be supported by her in her role as a Rapid Response Nurse. Today, I came into work to take care of a patient who was in rapid AFIB. She was in the room from the start of the problem giving input to the off-going night nurses and helping stabilize the patient. Not only was she a kind and patient leader, she made the patient feel truly cared for. It is wonderful to have such an experienced and motivated person around to look after our patients. Throughout the day, I got many calls from her checking in on this patient. Because of her help, the patient's rate was controlled and her condition stabilized by the end of the day. As a "behind the scenes" nurse, she is an unsung hero. This patient will never know how much Amy did to help in a critical situation. I am so grateful for her ongoing support and expertise. Thank you!
