Amy embodies exactly what a nursing professor and mentor should be. She is dedicated to student success, is willing to spend time diving deep into what content a student does not understand to help them grasp a concept, and she is not afraid to ask questions and hunt for answers if there is something in her position as Team Lead that she does not have experience with. Amy is relentless in making sure she herself understands what needs to be done before class or any type of skills demonstration. The hot spot in her car gets a lot of use, as I know personally that she will use the time while her girls are in sports practice to work on her own lecture material or test questions. She always brings positivity to the office which in itself, is motivating.
