Ana and I first met at the beginning of 2024 when I was rushed to the hospital for abdominal pain. She was part of the team that discovered my recent miscarriage had not entirely cleared and, in fact, was caught in the fallopian tube, causing it to burst. I was bleeding out, and Ana was part of the team that took care of and saved me.

Once again, Ana and I met in the ER almost a year later, except this time I was emergency delivering our rainbow baby, E. We had waited too long at home and had to go to the nearest hospital. We were rushed back into a room, and 5 minutes later, our baby was born. During the chaos of delivery, Ana had recognized me and asked if I had a daughter named O, which she had learned from our first meeting. Ana had remembered me and my family from a year ago, and our time had come full circle as she was there when I had lost a baby and now welcomed a baby.
