I am a 26-year-old man who came to Wound Care Clinic with an open wound following a chronic laparotomy adhesiolysis. Two weeks after the surgery, the wound had not improved and had even developed a large white biofilm. I arrived feeling upset, angry, and frustrated. However, I met Nurse Ana at the clinic. She was friendly, caring, and meticulous in cleaning, opening, and re-closing my wound. She always answered all my questions clearly and put me at ease. I met her at least three times a week to change the bandage and check on my healing progress.

Nurse Ana believed that I would recover within six weeks and always tried hard to use various wound care methods with her knowledge. She often used Sundays and rest time to treat me, whether in person, via chat, or video call. I feel like Nurse Ana is a blessing from God, sent to help me in my healing process. Nurse Ana is very concerned about patient comfort and reminds me to maintain nutrition and movement.

Finally, after six weeks, not only did I recover, but I was also able to return to my normal activities. From a gaping hole up to 9 cm deep until it closed tightly again, thanks to the patience of Nurse Ana, who also maintained my mentality as a patient to never give up in facing this test.
