Ana Hernandez 2023, RN

TCU was getting a patient from Tampa with the need for Eakin’s pouches for a fistula. We got a phone report while the patient was en route. I quickly spoke with Ana about this special wound need. We went to supplies to search. Ana was able to get the names and numbers of all the supplies needed. When the patient arrived to the unit, her pouch had a major tear. I called Ana, and even though she had left AH Dade City, she drove back and did the pouch change with the one pouch sent with the patient. Ana went above and beyond to help me and the patient on a Friday afternoon. Ana is much appreciated and very valued.
