Ana Isaac, RN

Nurse Ana Isaac provided the most exemplary care for my Grandad during his stay in the Stroke Unit. Ana went above and beyond to not only meet his needs, but also to make sure he was comfortable and to do everything she could to lift his spirits. She quickly recognized his hearing loss and made a conscious effort to always address him loudly and directly, patiently repeating herself. Ana made him feel seen and understood, and she protected his dignity as a person and made sure that he was not overlooked. Ana was by far the most attentive nurse on the floor, and she did a fantastic job of updating our family and keeping us informed.

Ana has a bubbly, uplifting personality, and she always looked for the positive in a situation and encouraged him to do the same. On days when Ana was reassigned to other patients, she always stopped by on her breaks and checked on him to see how he was doing. Her visits brightened his day and lifted his spirits. We are forever grateful for the care she exhibited.
