Ana works in the Pulmonary Clinic at Aurora Medical Center Summit. I always look forward to my visit with Ana after my doctor's appointment. She sits down with me, goes over all my meds; and allows me to express my feelings and concerns. There are times when I had to call her two to three times a day and she is always patient and listens to my medical needs. Ana shows great empathy and compassion especially when I have a hard time understanding the changes that are occurring with my lung disease. Ana is a very knowledgeable nurse that does a superior job of caring for all her patients. During the summer I was at a meeting at the Summit hospital and I was not feeling well, my breathing pattern changed, my heart rate was increasing and I was getting no relief from my inhaler. I was scared, the Pulmonary clinic was called, and I talked to Ana. She knew that I was not feeling well by the tone of my voice, shortness of breath, and wheezing. Ana insisted that I come to the clinic right away. Once I was at the clinic, I was taken back to an exam room and my pulse rate and blood pressure were very high that they rushed me to the ER that afternoon. I'm so grateful that Ana had me come to the clinic and I want to thank Ana for her quick action and for saving my life that day. She cares so much about the health of her patients and we are blessed to have her as part of Aurora Summit Medical Center. Ana is a very talented and kind nurse to all. I always feel very secure in the Pulmonary Clinic because they truly care about the needs of their patients.
