This nurse is exceptional. She truly goes above and beyond the call of duty. My husband was recently diagnosed with cancer, and I was devastated. He had to have a procedure, and as he was being wheeled into the Operating Theater Room, I lost it emotionally. This nurse rushed over and asked if it was okay to give me a hug and/or pray with me. I was grateful for both.

She found an empty family room and actually got on her knees with me and prayed. She told me that there was no rush to leave the room and I could take as long as I needed before exiting. This meant the world to me.

There have been several times in which I have run into her at BayCare during my husband’s visits. Each time she makes sure to give positive words of encouragement and even told me about support groups and prayer services that are offered.

She is truly a gift to BayCare and all patients she comes in contact with. Her winning smile and personality make me say that she is the true definition of a DAISY Nurse.
