I would like to take a minute to not only nominate but recognize Ana Saucedo for the outstanding job she does with her patients. She has become a vital team player with the Rapid Response Team (RRT) when there have been emergencies, declining patients or even just a high MEWS score on her floor, even if the patient was not hers. I continuously see her going above and beyond for not only the patients but her co-workers as well. Excellent with her patient teaching, so much that I'm impressed and proud, each time that I listen (I'm sure she doesn't even know that I listen).
As a newer nurse, it is so important for you to be well rounded for your role as a team player on F1. Well, you got it all with Ana! This is the type of nurse that should be made an example of how good she really is, and I'm almost sure she doesn't even know it. I feel confident in saying, with her quick decision making and her assessment skills, she has prevented some ICU admissions, in contacting the RRT as quickly as she has. Again, thank you! She is not only an asset to the F1 team but also to the Henry Ford Hospital system! Great job, to a Great RN!
