Ana works in the SAHA in Our Emergency Department at Clear Lake. She is known for her kindness and always smiling. The patient who nominated her said that while she was in the SAHA she had several different nurses who were pretty amazing. Ana was one of the kindest and communicative nurses. She was happy to explain the process of getting into a psych facility. She made the patient feel dignified and worthy of proper care. The patient states that having been in this situation before, it is easy to feel like you are just crazy. However, Ana never made her feel that way. Ana became the patient's best advocate. This is important per the patient because when you are in this situation, you literally have no control over yourself. The patient states she deserves to be recognized for treating her patients as she does.
