Ana Stina Espinosa, RN, BSN

Ana Stina is a wonderful nurse. Her exceptional care truly exhibits her passion for nursing. We had a patient in his forties from out of town and newly diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. His wife was pregnant, and they already had a 1-year-old baby. The patient’s wife went into labor while the patient was admitted. The patient’s wife, their toddler, and now their newborn baby were all staying in his room because they did not have family or the means to stay in town. Ana Stina would frequently round on the patient even when the patient was not assigned to her. She would bring the wife food, diapers, formula, and clothes. The patient was transferred to the ICU, and Ana Stina continued to check on the patient.
