Ana Tafoya, BSN, RN

I am the luckiest girl in the world to have had Ana assigned to my labor and delivery. Ana was an exceptional nurse - calm, caring, compassionate.. but most importantly - when my baby decided to arrive unexpectedly - she ran my delivery like a BOSS! Ana simultaneously coached and cheered me on through my delivery. I'm not sure if I would have been able to deliver my baby boy without her support and guidance. After the delivery, Ana went above and beyond to make sure I was okay. I will never forget how she helped me with my hair and level set expectations for what I should expect postpartum. She didn't have to do this, but she gave me a pep talk about how I shouldn't compare myself to others and to give my body time to heal. I have been home from the hospital for a month now, and I think about what she said to me every single day. Her words of encouragement and support are still with me, and I am forever grateful that she took the time to care. Thank you, Ana, for making such a difference in my experience. Working with you felt like hitting the lottery - THANK YOU!!!
