Anai was my nurse when I had my baby in December, and she was the most patient, kind, and caring nurse I’ve met. At the time, I was also a student nurse, so I was somewhat afraid of now being a patient, but Anai was in and out of my room, constantly checking in on me and even my family. She made sure that my mom was present for my first childbirth experience despite other obstacles, and I can’t thank her enough for showing us that grace. She stayed with me after I delivered and continuously assessed my pain and my needs. For that being my first delivery, I couldn’t have asked for a better nurse. Anai embodies the definition of an Extraordinary Nurse, and I am so beyond grateful for her kindness. Because of her, I had the most memorable experience with my first baby/delivery in the most comforting way. Although I was her patient, not her student, she still taught me how to deliver a perfect patient experience for me to pass on to my future patients. Thank you Anaí, you may not know it, but I think of you every day, and how you were there in my most vulnerable state and did so with an amount of compassion, I cannot begin to thank you enough for.
