Anci received six nominations from patients, the majority for her IV start skills;

"The patient stated that Anci from day surgery came to visit him yesterday when he was in an inpatient bed as she had placed an IV on him when he was going for surgery. During her visit, he told her that he was itching all over his neck and chest, and he thought it might be from anesthesia he received during surgery, but Anci stated it was not from anesthesia; it was from an antibiotic he was receiving, later the doctor was informed, and the antibiotics were discontinued. The patient stated that once the antibiotic was discontinued, all his rashes and itching went away, and he felt so much better. This was a good catch from Anci."

Other departments have recognized Anci for her willingness to help them with difficult IV starts. She is very skilled and willing to help whenever called.
