Every time I work with Andolyn she brings so much lightheartedness to the unit. She genuinely cares so much for her patients and I feel re-energized when I see the interactions. I have meant to fill this out for months because I seriously mean every shift with Andolyn reminds me of what healthcare is supposed to be about. Her willingness to help her coworkers is simply unmatched and she never makes them feel bad for asking. I know it will be a good day when I work with her. She is everything I believe this award stands for! Her empathy and compassion are palpable in her treatment of patients. If the unit is having a hard day, she always has a joke or something to say to bring us all out of our funk.
