Andrain Robinson is one of the most compassionate and competent nurses I have seen. She recognized one of my patients who had taken a turn for the worse. Andrain acted promptly and contacted the night Hospitalist MD. The patient was transferred to the unit and Cardiology performed an emergent Heart Cath which showed severe CAD. Cardiology recommended a transfer to UAB. The patient was subsequently transferred to UAB and stabilized. Andrain saved this patient's life. Had she not recognized what was going on, this patient would have surely arrested and likely died.
