We had a patient in the ICU for almost two weeks, during which time he passed away after a long battle. Although it was very busy in the ICU that day, Andrea took the idea that had been shared on People Connect and made the heartbeat in a bottle for this patient's two daughters. She did not wait for training or someone to say let's do this but jumped on the opportunity to create a memory for them that they will cherish forever.
