On Christmas Day, Andrea was charge nurse and had gone out of her way to go and buy each patient on our floor a small gift. She had wrapped each gift and have everyone who was working on our floor go around to each room to deliver the presents and to wish them a merry Christmas. As a young health care professional, myself, I found this to be very inspiring and I look up to Andrea very much for this and many other reasons.

I was totally touched by Andrea's kindness of giving the patients a Christmas gift. Being in the hospital on Christmas is depressing. Andrea's thoughtful gift brightened the day. This went way beyond what is expected of her.
