What really makes her stand out as an extraordinary nursing student is her practice of the art of nursing. She delivers compassionate, individualized nursing care incorporating attention to detail with her patient assignment. She never stops moving to ensure all of her patient's needs are met. I remember one evening where she barely made it out of her patient's room who was dealing with a new stroke, on top of a history of disability from strokes in the past. All I heard in the hallway from that room was laughter. I could really tell that Andrea gave this patient just what he needed, which was a smile and listening ear.
