Andrea had a nice card and gas gift card ready to give her and her husband.
Andrea heard though Social Media about a mother to a 5-year-old who had been diagnosed with cancer and was undergoing extensive chemotherapy and radiation treatments after already enduring a complicated surgery. The mother of this sweet girl was due to have a baby. Andrea took it upon herself to “gather the troops” in the Birth Center and collect money for her so when she came to deliver her new baby, Andrea had a nice card and gas gift card ready to give her and her husband. Andrea knew the many trips to DesMoines they would be taking for the little girl’s treatment, so knew they would be able to use it. Andrea went above and beyond to show compassion and support to this family in their time of need.
