April 2021 Honoree
Andrea Clements, RN
My dad was involved in a fire at our house. When I called this nurse for help - she was there. When my dad was readmitted to St. V's with a clot in his leg - she was there. She was his nurse when he was first transferred to SICU and made him laugh during his darkest, most confusing moments. She was there to help guide me through the process of having a sick parent. She stood beside me as I had to choose to withdraw care from my dad. This nurse was there for me and my sister in more ways than I can count. She has been an amazing mentor, nurse, and friend. My dad was my best friend - my reason for becoming a nurse. I miss him every day, but thanks to this nurse, I know he was given the best care possible. Thank you Andrea.
Thank you, Andrea, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
