Andrea does her job with compassion and with a brilliant smile. I never had to ask for anything. She anticipated what my needs were before I did. My first night I was on her floor, my son made a comment he saw recliners on the floor. My son, knowing I cannot lay flat, knew it was critical to my rest to have one. Andrea overheard this conversation and when I had to leave the room for a procedure she did something remarkable, when I came back, low and behold, there was a recliner with blankets made up just like a bed for me.
In the middle of the night when her shift slowed down, Andrea would come into my room when I couldn't sleep and talk with me to take my mind off things which allowed me to relax and get the rest I very much needed. She did this with a tremendous smile and such compassion. She was much more concerned with her patient's care and well-being and always with compassion. Andrea went above and beyond what her job required. She made my stay an extraordinary experience for which I will be eternally grateful.
