Andrea Davis 2024, RN

I came in as a sickle cell patient, scared and sad because of the pain I was in and the traumatic experience I had just had at a previous hospital. Andrea was the first face I saw upon being admitted and taken to my room. Andrea allowed me time to get settled in and came in and did what she needed to do. I shared my previous experience from another facility with her, and she assured me I would be well taken care of here.

Andrea frequently checked on me and did everything in her power to make me feel comfortable and at ease. She shared jokes that made me laugh. Andrea went above and beyond. The world would be a better place with outstanding nurses like her. I was very pleased to have her as my nurse. Andrea also made sure she helped me to understand any questions or concerns I had regarding my health. Andrea and the Providence Southfield team made this experience a good one, even while I was in pain. I am happy to have met her and for her care during my hospital stay. The level of care she has for her patients and their families makes her stand out from the average nurse. Andrea deserves all the good things in life to come her way. She is truly a blessing.
