Andrea Garcia is always first to think of ways we can ease the grieving process for the families of our patients. She has so much care and compassion! One specific example occurred this summer:
The young father, a trauma patient, was dying. His 2 children and wife were devastated. Andrea wanted to give the family something special to help preserve his memory. She went to the hospital gift shop and bought 3 cards. She then took his fingerprints 3 different times and put them in the cards for his wife and 2 children.
