Andrea always met my son where he was. His complex newly found diabetic condition mixed with his extreme electrolyte imbalance were enough to keep track of. My son also is autistic and doesn't deal well with change or new situations. Andrea met him when he was mentally, emotionally, and physically challenging. She truly cared how his overall health and well-being were. She spent the extra time to explain and let him process even when outside forces would try to rush. She had my son's health and well-being at the forefront of every interaction. She was truly a compassionate, bright shining star during a very difficult time.
