During our very traumatic and frustrating hospitalization with our daughter we encountered many obstacles to her care. When faced with a plan that we really felt would help our daughter, we were told by multiple providers that it would not be possible for days. We had been through so much uncertainty already. Andrea went above and beyond to pull a team together to make the procedure happen for our daughter. She listened and was an amazing advocate. She communicated effectively to successfully achieve a positive outcome. She is an amazing nurse and should be recognized for her patience, dedication, and perseverance. In her words, “sometimes people need a reminder of why they are here.” Sometimes we all do. We are very thankful for her care and for being a voice for us.
