Andrea Hernandez, BSN, RN

Andrea Hernandez was my "Angel" caring for me in a very different and scary time. I had been having chest pains and had many tests and procedures. With all these, she immediately created an environment of caring, compassion, and concern. She explained and demonstrated knowledge and professionalism. Every interaction was indicative of quality care both from Parkland culture and the culture of nursing. She is a very special caregiver who has big plans to continue to help her patients now and in the future.

She made me feel special and well cared for going the extra mile to bring me sandwiches, juice, and water when I had long tests that day. Her smile and demeanor are so comforting and a real asset to Parkland, and to her patients. She made a big impact on this patient.
