I would like to thank the staff and share my story of why I believe they are so special:

I am honored to nominate Andrea for a recognition award such as the DAISY. From the very beginning of my breast reduction journey, Andrea has been nothing but compassionate and supportive.

After experiencing a difficult and emotional rollercoaster trying to find the right care, I was fortunate to connect with the doctor's team. When I shared my previous experiences, Andrea listened with genuine empathy and kindness. She validated my feelings and reassured me that what I had gone through mattered and that she and her team would do everything possible to ensure I would never have to endure something like that again.

Andrea took the time to walk me through every step of the process, explaining things clearly and thoughtfully. She even shared examples of previous patient outcomes, helping me feel confident and reassured that I was finally in the right hands.

Our journey began during my consultation in the fall of 2025. At that time, I explained that my insurance would be ending at the close of the year and that I would soon be uninsured. I was understandably anxious and asked how far out procedures were being scheduled. Andrea immediately acknowledged my concerns and responded with urgency and compassion.

She assured me she would do everything she could to get me scheduled as soon as possible, while also being transparent that they were scheduling into 2026. She began the insurance authorization process right away, recognizing how life-changing this surgery would be for me.

I received a call less than a week later that there was an opening the day after my birthday (a truly meaningful gift to myself). Andrea worked tirelessly to gather all necessary documentation, and thanks to her dedication, my prior authorization was approved shortly after scheduling. I was truly amazed at how smoothly and quickly she made the entire process feel.

After surgery, Andrea continued to go above and beyond. She followed up to make sure I was healing well and feeling okay. Anytime I had concerns or questions, she responded quickly, offering reassurance and guidance that eased my worries.

Now, several months post-surgery, I am absolutely blown away by my results. Andrea consistently spoke highly of her team and fostered a sense of trust and comfort throughout my entire experience. She embodies everything a nurse should be - compassionate, responsive, knowledgeable, and deeply committed to her patients’ well-being.

If I could have Andrea at every doctor’s office I visit, I absolutely would. I am incredibly grateful for the care she provided and the impact she has had on my life. She is more than deserving of this recognition
