Andrea Holstein, RN

I was admitted through the ER and spent a month in the hospital. I came home last Friday.

The day shift and night shift were all so kind, friendly, and caring towards me. It wasn’t just the nurses; it was also the techs, lab, just everyone – I have never seen so many people as on the 9th floor get along so well. The Nurses were not only kind to me but were so nice to my husband when he would visit.

Andrea stood out to me; on the days that she was training, she had so much patience and such a caring way of explaining things. Andrea had a way of making me feel that in time I could do anything, and helped me stay positive.

One day she came into my room and said she had a surprise for me; of course, it had my curiosity. Andrea had heard me talk about my two mini bernedoodles, Moxie and Mojo; she knew I missed them, and knew there was a nurse with a therapy bernedoodle named Benjamin Franklin.  At the time, I couldn’t even sit up by myself, but in came Benjamin, and it just made my day.

Andrea is a very special and wonderful person and nurse.  Thank you all for the wonderful care!
