This year I had right eye cataract surgery performed by my doctor and assisted by Nurse Andrea Baldwin. Today I am scheduled to have left eye cataract surgery. I simply want you to know that my extreme comfort level as I approach this procedure is based not only on my doctor's exceptional competence but also on the precision and compassionate care of Nurse Baldwin. I did not get a chance to thank her properly last time, nor did I document how good she is. I am sure she has provided outstanding care to hundreds of patients, yet she made me feel like the only patient she had to worry about. If there is a recognition program for exceptional performance of duty, I give my highest recommendation to Nurse Baldwin for that recognition.
