Lily Shuster helped take care of a patient whose spouse passed away unexpectedly during his hospitalization. The patient and his spouse had dogs that meant the world to them. When the police found the spouse, they took the dogs to the pound. This made the patient's grief even worse. He was heartbroken. Lily was able to get a notarized letter from the patient, go to the pound and get the dogs, and care for them while the patient was in the hospital. She never expected anything in return.
