Andrea has gone above and beyond all nursing expectations. Andrea was a calm confident educator with the visiting nursing student, doing an excellent job prompting, gently correcting and showing by example. During her 2 shifts with our family, she made a personal connection with us. She did a great job validating our concerns and addressing them with calm confidence. Everything felt okay after talking with her. That was amazing for a family with a new baby. It was very clear how special Andrea was when our 4-year-old daughter came to visit. Andrea let her be her nurse assistant, relaying questions, answers, and showing her every step of what she was doing. The change in our daughter was dramatic. She felt important and that she had a place in our changing family. Our daughter has been excited to help with her new brother and this gave her the chance. She says she wants to be a nurse when she is older. I cannot say how reassuring Andrea has been in this crazy time. She is so easy to ask questions and we feel better about asking them. Andrea is flat out awesome, and we feel blessed to have been under her care.
