Every day since I had R, I think about how amazing and magical our birth experience was. I can’t help but to think about one of the biggest blessings that day our Labor and Delivery Nurse, Andrea.

Since the day I got pregnant, I stressed and worried about how my birth experience was going to be. I was so scared I was going to have a bad experience. You hear so many horror stories about birth, but I feel like you never hear the good ones. The great ones. 
Andrea supported us in all of our decisions, 100% judge-free. She had such a huge impact on us in so many ways. She advocated for us. She never left our side. She never failed to tell me how amazing I was doing when I felt like I was failing. She made me feel comfortable and safe. 

Right before I started pushing, she told us she’d be back with the doctor in 10 minutes, and while she was gone, she told M and I to talk about everything we were nervous or scared about, and to let those fears and worries go. That everything is going to be perfect. And it was exactly that. Those 10 minutes were such a magical, emotional time for us. The fact that she included M in everything, just as I wished for, makes me so, so happy. 

Because of you, we had the best birth experience ever. We laughed, we cried, we carried on. I seriously can’t imagine ever having a different L&D Nurse. 

To the Momma who is scared, worried, or stressed about their upcoming birth, just like I was - I pray you are blessed with a great soul like Andrea.
