My experience with Riverside was outstanding due to the comfort and compassion Andrea Reyes exhibited during my recovery from neck surgery. Of course, I was not really looking forward to this surgery. The surgery went well!!! Yay! One obstacle done. Next, to my room and awaiting my arrival was the kind face of my nurse, Andrea. She went beyond my expectations to ensure I was comfortable and not only me but my family. My family had been there all morning and by the time the surgery was complete I was in my room, and it was late. She was very attentive to them and brought drinks to them so they would not have to leave me. Due to health issues with my wife, she quickly got a comfortable chair for her and a chair for my daughter. My daughter stayed the night and Andrea brought in blankets and pillows to ensure she was comfortable and any snacks she provided. I have had other surgeries as my wife has to and never had such attentive care given to both me and my family! Andrea is truly deserving of this award, and she clearly exemplifies the qualities of a compassionate and caring nurse. Please pass on to her that my family will never forget her kindness and SHE ROCKS!
