Andrea Rivas, RN

My daughter has been in the hospital for 10 days, which has been a very stressful, overwhelming time for her. One nurse stood out in such an exceptional way that my daughter personally requested her to be her nurse again. That alone speaks volumes about the impact she had. Andrea Rivas not only provided excellent medical care but also showed a level of kindness, patience, and compassion that made my daughter feel safe and cared for. As a parent, that meant so much to me that my daughter not only cared for medically but was also emotionally supported. The comfort and reassurance that Andrea provided truly made a huge difference in her healing and in our experience of the hospital. I am deeply grateful for her dedication and heart. I believe that she embodies the spirit of the DAISY Award. She truly went above and beyond skilled, compassion and a heart for truly caring for others. We will always be grateful for her.
