Andrea follws her intuition in getting the appropriate labs and test ordered by MD's. Before a patient exhibited acute signs and symptoms of a change in status, Andrea was able to get the attention of the attending MD, and the patient was transferred to the OR for emergency surgery. This action resulted in a positive patient outcome.
