Andrea Strauss, RN
I was in the care of the team of Atrium Lincolnton with Covid-19. I was on a vent and in a coma for most of my stay, but my family and friends were all very impressed with the level of care that I received while I was there. The thing that makes Andrea stand out is that the day they attempted to extubate me my lung collapsed, and my heart stopped; my wife M happened to be walking into the room. Andrea came running and pulled M out to the hall an held her and cried with her while they worked on me and brought me back. M has continuously referenced that event as an example of the caring that she saw while I was in Lincolnton. The care I received at Lincolnton was exemplary and I truly wish I could hug and thank everyone who had anything to do with keeping me around for my wife, family, and friends. You should be very proud of the teams you have assembled.
