Andrea was there to comfort me and told me multiple times that they were going to continue to take care of my son.
I brought my son into the hospital. He had just had a tonsillectomy. He started bleeding in the middle of the night and I had to take him to the ER. When I got here I was very scared. My husband wasn't able to come with me because my other child was at home. Andrea made me feel comfortable as soon as she walked into the room. They had to do some invasive procedures with my son and she was there by my side the whole time. At one point I was shaking and crying. Andrea was there to comfort me and told me multiple times that they were going to continue to take care of him. The nurse practitioner who was on that night made it possible for me to ride in the helicopter with my son to Denver. That meant more than anyone could imagine. I definitely didn't want him to have to go by himself. After Andrea found out that I myself was a nurse, she could sense the fear even more and still continued to show support. The tech on that night was also phenomenal. These ladies really fit the true care standards of CRMC and should be recognized for their hard work, dedication, and compassion for their patients.
